Make Your Voting Plan

Why is making a plan to vote important?

Studies show that making a plan, writing it down, and sharing it with friends & family increase your chances of following through with the plan - whether it's your plan to vote, or your plan to run a 5k this year! See below for the steps you should include in your voting plan, and download our template to write it down!

HAVE you checked your voter registration?

Visit IWillVote.com to check your registration status, register if there is still time to do so in your state, and find out your options for voting - early, by mail, or on election day!

WHO else will you bring with you?

Make sure every voter has a voice! Coordinate with family members, friends & neighbors to go together.

WHEN are you going to vote?

Early? By Mail? On Election Day? Schedule it in your calendar - and add reminders!

HOW will you get to the polling place?

Whether you walk, ride your bike, take public transportation, drive, or take a risde share, figure out exactly how you'll get there.

WHAT type of ID will you bring with you?

Many states require some form of identification in order to vote. Confirm what's needed in your state, and make a plan to have it with you when you go to vote.
